David P. Lacy was born in Liberia, West Africa. After migrating to the USA, he also spent some time in Canada, as a landed immigrant. Later he graduated from High School on the Big Island of Hawaii, where he once again found himself in the minority class. After graduation, Dave went to college in Salem and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Corban University. He has also earned a master’s degree, as well as an Executive Leadership post-grad certificate. His professional background includes corporate administration, executive leadership, and motivational coaching. He is currently a PRINCIPAL BROKER with Valley Real Estate in Springfield. Throughout his career, he has served in six separate continents and traveled to all 50 of the United States as well. 

In addition to serving as Springfield REALTORS® 2024 President, Dave also serves with the Oregon REALTORS®, as he sits on both the Professional Development Key Committee and the Political Affairs Key Committee. He is also very active in his local church and is currently a deacon, video producer, and webmaster for Camp Creek Church, where he and his wife Jessica are members.
